LOOKS PARA INVITADAS CURVY ACUS

LOOKS FOR CURVY GUESTS

Wearing plus sizes doesn't mean you can't dress well. It seems we're obsessed with achieving the much-vaunted ' hourglass ' figure, imposed since ancient Greece, forgetting what a body actually looks like. LOOKS FOR CURVY GUESTS

We should be proud of our bodies and show off the parts we like most, and of course, if you're curvy , you should be too!

CURVY TIPS

At ACUS we've brought you different outfit ideas for events and parties, inspired by today's curvy girls, but first we're going to give you some tips that can help you choose your final look , not only for events, but also for your everyday life.

  • The first thing you need to know is your body type. You need to identify your shape so you can choose your clothes correctly.

If you have a large bust , you should look for blouses or dresses that show off your collarbone.

If you have wide hips , look for straight-leg pants, as they will disguise them and lengthen your legs.

If you have a short neck , shirts with a mandarin collar and a thin neckline will look great on you ;)

But without a doubt, the top tip for a curvy girl is to define the waist , even from below the bust; this will create a much more streamlined figure in any look.

  • Not too big, not too small: It's all about the right proportions. We don't recommend a loose-fitting tunic, which you might initially think would hide what you don't like about your body, because the effect is the opposite; it makes you look larger instead of concealing it.

  • Color: Here we want to debunk the myth that ' black is slimming.' While that's true, it's not just black; any monochrome look is slimming, even white. Looks for curvy guests

Don't mix colors, especially if they're very bright. Combine bright colors with neutral tones. Make sure the most colorful garment is on the least voluminous part of your body or the area you want to emphasize to create contrast with the neutral. CURVY GUEST LOOKS

  • Prints: yes, and we recommend large ones. What you should avoid are horizontal stripes.

We invite you to explore and have fun with fashion; we want to see your curves show off, not a boring body.

The classic mistake is longing for the body we don't have and continuing to try to dress the way we wish we looked; this is the worst thing we can do. So it's important to focus on what you love about your body and flaunt it . This will make you feel more confident , a confidence you'll project. And if you downplay what you dislike about your body, emphasizing what you love, you'll look much better.
