THE NEW ACUS IKIGAI COLLECTION IS NOW AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE
At the end of 2019 at ACUS we launched the first part of the IKIGAI Collection , made up of 4 incredible designs, created by the architects and founders of our firm Elena Doblas and Sergio Arias #acusbyarchitects .
In December 2019, we presented these delicate pieces, the Antarctic Earrings, Cairo Earrings, Phoenix Earrings and Kyoto Earrings, made of natural druzy stone, making this stone once again a mineral that is trending.
Today, Thursday, April 23rd, we're launching the second part of this collection that will leave no one indifferent. It's contemporary, feminine, unique—it's ACUS . Tonight, we'll be showcasing nine earring designs, completing this collection of 13 in total. We'll be featuring the Karma, Alexandria, Laurel, Mangata, Bonhomía, Ataraxia, Ningyo, Sayuri, and Okiya earrings, all named with the intention of helping us create our own IKIGAI (personal vision). The various natural stones featured in these pieces are the stars of this collection, in timeless shades like white, black, pink, blue, green, turquoise, and the trendy purple, all set in gold and silver plating.
Also, #Acuslovers, you're in luck because you can personalize these pieces, choosing colors and natural stones, and selecting the finishes in gold or silver plating, whichever you prefer.
The IKIGAI Collection consists of pieces created to live unforgettable moments.
WHAT IS IKIGAI?
IKIGAI : Find "your reason for being," "your reason for existing" in this life.
According to traditional Japanese culture, it's a long and arduous process of introspection, but finding the meaning of our lives solves all our problems at once. Find "a reason to get up in the morning," and nothing will hold you back.
Nor is IKIGAI defined as a path to happiness in itself, but rather as a state we reach by discovering what we can contribute to the world, what we can develop for the benefit of all. IKIGAI is the intersection of what you enjoy doing, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what can generate income. It is the justification for your existence, and that fills you with self-esteem.

Let's discover, with the help of our dear Loreto Gordo @loretomadeinstyle, part of the Collection and the new colors of the Earrings from the previous Metropolis Collection.

ALEXANDRIA PENDING ACCUSES
Alexandria is a Mediterranean port city in Egypt. During the Hellenistic period, it was home to a lighthouse that is listed among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, along with a major library.

NINGYO PENDIENTES DE ACUS
In Japanese mythology, Ningyo is mentioned as a fish goddess or mermaid, depicted in art as a beautiful woman with long black hair and a fish tail. Accounts of her appear in the Nihoshoki, a historical record of Japan. She is considered a goddess of good fortune.

LAUREL PENDINGS OF ACUS
The triumphal wreath, or laurel wreath, was the honor bestowed upon the victorious general entering Rome. It consisted of a wreath of branches, initially laurel, and was awarded to the Greek victors of the Olympic Games. It symbolized success and victory.

MANGATA PENDIENTES DE ACUS
It is the path of light left by the moon as it reflects on the water.

ANTARCTICA PENDING ACTIONS
Antarctica, or the Antarctic continent, is the southernmost continent on Earth. Antarctica is the largest freshwater reserve on Earth. If it were to melt, sea levels would rise by 60 meters. It is a territory of paramount importance, and we all need to be aware of its significance.

KYOTO ACU PENDINGS
Kyoto, once the capital of Japan, is a city on the island of Honshu. Kyoto is the city that most closely evokes the past. It is famous for its numerous classical Buddhist temples and gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, and traditional wooden houses.
Ikigai teaches us to analyze both good and bad experiences, transform them into positive thinking, and ensure good emotional health.
That the Japanese live fast is undeniable. Paradoxically, they believe they must spend the exact amount of time on each task, no more and no less. However, moments of relaxation are necessary and are reflected in their techniques, their crafts, and their haikus (classical poetic miniatures). Even workaholics need to find a minute to stop and breathe.
