MOONSTONE

This stone belongs to the amazonite and labradorite stone family; it is a variety of adularia, belonging to the feldspar group.

It's called moonstone because it captures the moon's energies, and if you look closely, it even mimics the moon's hues when you gaze at it. It's not entirely white; it has grayish veins that make it special. This optical effect is known as adularescence, and it's the characteristic sheen of this type of mineral that occurs because there are small, flaky inclusions of feldspar within the stone.

By seeking a balance of light, it has special sparkles that bring light to the face, thus favoring dark skin tones.

According to Hindu tradition, moonstone is associated with love and femininity. It is also a stone that brings tranquility and serenity.
