A TRIP THROUGH LONDON, THE MOST COSMOPOLITAN CITY

London's tourist season lasts all year round; it's one of the most visited cities in Europe, thanks to its countless attractions for travelers to enjoy. Will you join me in discovering them?

Let's discover this great capital city on this new route through London, the most cosmopolitan city! The most appealing aspect of this city is its ability to blend the classic and traditional with contemporary modernity, and its open-mindedness. The diversity that exists as a result of the large number of cultures that inhabit this capital makes London one of the most visited cosmopolitan cities by tourists.

All the attractions in this city are open year-round, so you can visit whenever you like. Although peak season runs from June to September, I recommend booking hotels and tickets for shows well in advance—they're very popular! The quieter months for tourists are February, March, October, and November. 2-HOUR CITY WALKING TOUR

Start from MONUMENT UNDERGROUND: Walk south towards King William Street, keeping Monument to your left; from here you'll have incredible views over London Bridge and as far as Tower Bridge. Retrace your steps.
If you go straight along Monument Street until you reach Monument Street, go up Fish Street Hill to Eastcheap and continue straight. Cross onto Philpot Lane; you'll find Lloyd's Building directly opposite.
Finally, cross Fenchurch Street to enter Lime Street. Take the Lime Street Passage to Leadenhall Market. Take Whittington Avenue and continue along Leadenhall Street.
Continue to the Lloyds Building, cross and go left along St. Mary Axe to number 30 (the Gherkin, on your right). Turn left towards Undershaft Square.

5. Turn right towards St. Helen Bishopsgate Church and continue along the left side of the square.

6. Cross onto Threadneedle Street, passing the statue of George Peabody, the American philanthropist. Turn right and go down Bartholomew Lane, passing the Bank of England. Turn left at the end onto Lothbury to enter Gresham Street.

7. The Guildhall is on the right, behind St. Lawrence Jewry Church. Walking away from the Guildhall, cross Gresham Street via King Street and Queen Street to reach Queen Victoria Street. The Temple of Mithras is on the other side.

8. Finally, continue along Queen Victoria Street. Turn right onto Bow Lane. St Mary-Le-Bow is at the end, on the left. Turn right and continue along Cheapside; Bank station is at the bottom of the hill, opposite Mansion House. End at Bank Underground.
